Indravathi Chauhan

Indravathi Chauhan is one of India’s most popular singers. She began her career as a child artiste in the Telugu film Industry. Her debut album was released in 1992. In 1996 she sang the hit song “Kannamma Kannama” for the movie Nuvvu Naaku Nacchavai Thaalu. She went on to sing many hits such as “Maa Maa Maanikka”, “Chinna Chinna Aasai”, “Thammudu”, “Nenapiradhu”, “Ammayi Ammayi”, “Gundelloovva”, “I Love You”, “Antevada”, “Hrudaya Hrudaya”, “Oo Antave Mava Oantave”, “Jeevana Janaana”, “Lakshmi Lakshmi”, “Ee Puzhuthandu”, ”Rajyabhishekam”, “Kaatukaani”, “Vetagina Veedhi”, “Yemelane Yemela”, “Ullasa Ullaasa”, “Adavi Adavi”, “Shubhamangala Shubhamangala”, “Maathiri Maathiri”, “Ra Ra Rajanna” and “Naanu Nanna Kanasu”.

She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer – South for the song “Oo antava mava oantava” in 2001. She also received awards for the song “Antevada Antevada” in 1999 and 2000.
