As a child, he loved hip-hop music, but it wasn’t until he heard Kanye West’s album 808’s & Heartbreaks that he really got into it. He recalls listening to the album over and over again, trying to learn every part of the song. He eventually bought his own copy of the album and taught himself how to produce songs.
