The wait is almost over for fans eager to hear what Drake has been working on. After teasing us with a few teasers over the past couple weeks, the Canadian rapper dropped “One Dance,” featuring Wiz Khalifa, on Friday night. Now, we know exactly what we’ll be listening to for the next month and change.
On Sunday afternoon, Drake announced via Instagram that Views will drop on Sept. 24. In addition to releasing the tracklist, he shared a short video clip showing him sitting in front of a computer screen playing along to the song. He says, “This is my favorite song I’ve done.”
In the caption, Drake wrote, “I’m excited about sharing this record with y’all. It’s been a long time coming. Thank you for being patient. We are ready to take the world by storm again.”
While Views isn’t quite as frenetic as 2016’s Scorpion, it’s still packed with bangers. From the bouncy “Nice for What” to the soulful “Summer Sixteen,” there’s something for everyone.
