The singer, songwriter and producer, whose real name is Adam Lambert, is known for his unique style and powerful voice. He has been performing since he was 12 years old, and has sold over 30 million records worldwide. His debut album, For Your Entertainment, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 2010. In 2012, he won three Grammy Awards, including Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “Whataya Want From Me.” He also received five nominations for the MTV Video Music Award for Artist To Watch in 2009, and four nominations for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Breakout Artist in 2011.

In 2013, he collaborated with Lady Gaga on her single “Judas,” and performed it live during the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show. He also worked with Katy Perry on her hit songs “Roar” and “Dark Horse”. In 2016, he released his second studio album, Trespassing, which included collaborations with Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Sia, Justin Bieber, Gwen Stefani and others.

His latest album, Glorious, came out in 2018. It features collaborations with Halsey, Khalid, Alessia Cara, Bebe Rexha, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Ella Mai, Julia Michaels, J Balvin, Kehlani, Khalid, Lizzo, Marshmello, Migos, Nick Jonas, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Tinashe, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, Zedd, and many more.

He has been nominated for six Grammys, winning three. At the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards held in 2017, he won the award for Best Rock Album for Trespassing. He also earned the awards for Song of the Year and Record Of The Year for “Trouble” from Trespassing. In addition, he was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” from Fifty Shades Darker.

Early life and career

Bowden grew up in Philadelphia. He attended Central High School where he played basketball and football. He studied communications and music at Temple University. He began writing songs while attending college. He wrote and recorded several demos, including one called “I’m Not Alone”. After graduating from Temple, he moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in music.

In 2011, he met producer and rapper Jazze Pha, who helped him produce some tracks for his demo. Later that year, he signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

On July 12, 2018, Bowden released his first single “Honest”. Its success led to a record contract with Universal Republic Records, and the release of his debut extended play, The Prelude, on February 26, 2020.

Personal life

Bowden began dating actress/model JL Bunny in 2016. In 2017 she gave birth to their son, Jack. She is now pregnant again with their second child due in 2020.

On January 29, 2019, Bowden announced via Twitter that he had gotten engaged to former American Idol contestant Cassadee Pope. They were married on October 24, 2019.
