Vice President Joe Biden has never been one to mince words – especially when it comes to Donald Trump. That trend continued on Thursday, when Biden sat down with PBS News Hour for a chat, and when the subject of Trump’s use of social media to communicate every slight, criticism, and personal grievance, Biden showed that he’s had enough of Trump’s behavior, most recently when Trump referred o Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer as he “Head Clown.” Biden said:
“Grow up, Donald. Grow up. Time to be an adult, you’re president.”
“You gotta do something, show us what you have. You’re gonna propose the legislation, we’re going to get to debate it, let the public decided. Let ’em vote in Congress. Let’s see what happens. It’s going to be much clearer what he’s for and against and what we’re for and against now that it’s going to get down to actually discussing, in detail, these issues that affect people’s lives.”
The Vice President is correct. We have just put a man with the emotional maturity of a three-year-old and the temperament of a playground bully into the most powerful position in the world. Instead of worrying about his transition and the confirmation of his cabinet nominees, Trump is busy tweeting and litigating personal feuds for the world to see. He’s a clown, and now he is the most dangerous clown in the world. On January 20th, the same guy who tweets this insanity multiple times a day will also have the power to start a nuclear war. Think about that, America, and be afraid. Be very, very afraid.
