On Christmas Eve, most people were stuffing stockings. Donald Trump spent it stuffing his foot in his mouth again with a ridiculous, poorly-spelled attack on NBC.
@NBCNews purposely left out this part of my nuclear qoute,” Trump wrote, his rage causing him to somehow miss the little red squiggly line that appears under incorrect words as a standard feature on everything these days, ‘until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes.’ Dishonest!”

Not only did Trump butcher the English language once again (no word if the actual Dictionary will troll him this time), it seems there is a glaring error in the accuracy of this claim. He is, in fact, ‘qouted’ in full.
If we look at the article in question, we see something Trump missed — like the rest of the quote.
Apparently, Trump skipped over the third paragraph entirely, chose to ignore, it, or is just repeating something he saw one of his meth-addled, uneducated followers claim in the comment section of some miscellaneous far-Right propaganda rag like Infowars or something. “All of the above” is certainly an option here, as well.
Naturally, the fine folks at Twitter were not going to let Trump get away with this unabashed holiday stupidity:

@DustinGiebel How the fuck does a person misspell on Twitter with a built in spellchecker? I guess if they are enraged … It could happen.
— M (@swimdeep) December 24, 2016
@swimdeep he is just so mad to correct a quote from 24 hrs ago that a 1 minute proofread is just irrational

Trump was up all night thinking about how he would compose this tweet. I think he is flipping out!
— The Tweetwit (@TheTweetwit) December 24, 2016
Here’s the thing: had MSNBC left that part of the quote out — actually left it out — everything Trump said would still be downright terrifying. After all, is there a proper way to say “bring on the nuclear holocaust?”
